I am an architect/urbanist in training, and researcher. Working across the fields of urbanism, architecture and policies reform, I focus on resiliency around the issues of climate justice and the refugee crisis, and the exploration of new forms of urban citizenships.
I am currently furthering research into Borderlands and Urban Porosity in response to mass climate migration on the US-Mexico border at the University of Cambridge (more on this at borderland.earth). In the face of unprecedented environmental displacement by 2050, the research examines potential urban frameworks of porosity and resilience for key border cities close to the tropic of cancer.
Key research Interests: borderlands/frontiers, displacement, social justice, post colonial repair, architecture, urbanism, resilience
